Produce is highly perishable, but we don’t have to tell you that! Managing a produce department is no easy task, and managing a produce warehouse is an undertaking that our teams take to heart.
- Beautiful produce starts with the soil. We’ve been nurturing the soil on our farms for decades.
- Harvesting with care, and cooling product as quickly as possible means crispier product that will hold up longer on the shelf.
- Storage needs vary for different fruits and vegetables, so we have different storage environments that take into consideration:
  - Temperature
  - Humidity
  - Ethylene
Daily inventory assessments inform our purchasing and production coordinators to ensure we have the right amount of product at the right time.

We source from over 40 organic growers and producers
- Over 20 of these are local vendors and grower partners
We offer a full assortment of certified organic fruits and vegetables by importing what doesn’t grow here or is out of season.
